I tried to make the most out of a rather slow day, so I broke up the
comic into three, four-panel, comics. I love to make four panel comics
so I did not feel much pressure with the layout. I really love to use my
tablet, so I decided to finish it with a digital ink layer using my
favorite drawing program: PaintTool SAI. I left the original scanned
layer at a 48% opacity so I could at a sense of shadow in places without
spending hours adding them. I also tried to make the squares a little
more straight, but since my original was so sloppy, I just quickly
slapped the new ones on; they couldn't be worse anyway.
Just to clear up the story, if it was questionable:
I
am not really a morning person, which is unfortunate for a future
teacher, but I had an especially sleep-filled day yesterday. Try as I
might, I could not wake up!
But I had to eat eventually, so around
noon I went with my dad and brother to a sketchy Chinese buffet. The
food was questionable, and later on I had my questions answered with a
bout of food poisoning! I slept it off and then woke up to read before
going to sleep again!
